Marbella Design 2023: Primary Love

Primary Love is a blank canvas where our most primary emotions live.The visual representation of an intangible scenario, a journey to the universe of our roots.
What would the place that harbors our deepest ties, our vital traces, be like? Where is everything that is no longer with us and that nevertheless accompanies our soul every day? That place is Primary Love, the space that is born from the deepest love and inspiration, from the need to imagine a real place for these emotions.
True to her style, Laura Carrillo has shaped a vital, elegant and contemporary space for this new edition of the Marbella Design fair.
The aesthetics of the project are a dialogue of balance between the most neutral luminosity and the most vibrant color. The essence of the space is a delicate work on white, deployed in multiple formats and nuances: the exquisite textures of the ArteWalls coverings that warmly wrap the walls or the volumes of the off-white upholstery in the latest designs by Stylish Club. Technology is a special plus in the work of this edition thanks to the sponsorship of Gira Ibérica, which has managed to make the most conceptual part of the space a reality.
Colour takes on a dynamic role thanks to the Eflux brand: 108 luminaires created expressly for this project give shape to “Serpentine”, a lamp that reproduces the pattern of a unique “light dance”.
Awarded in the previous edition for “the best fusion between art and interior design,” Laura Carrillo once again opts for art and color without limits with the presence of the work “Trojan Horse” by the artist Elvira Carrasco. A work of spectacular format that fully represents his style and most recent stage, “Faces Project 3D”, in which her face becomes a canvas flooded with emotion and colour.
Primary Love can be visited at Marbella Design from November 2 to 12 at the Marbella Congress Palace.
